About the Writer

Lindsee Gentry, a native of the Mid-South, is a junior at the University of Alabama studying journalism, liberal arts and Spanish. As an intern at CLICK magazine and the DeSoto Times Tribune, she has written features, assisted with photo shoots and contributed to the behind-the-scenes work that goes into both publications. Gentry’s most recent project, The Front Porch, aims at keeping readers involved through culture, entertainment and various other relevant topics. When she’s not chasing down a source or meeting a deadline, Gentry enjoys travelling, reading and cheering UA’s National Champion football team on in her hometown Tuscaloosa, AL.
